• Methodology
  EMTP RV Modelling is used to simulate multiple Switching operations of the CB. Scenarios to be considered: Station Faults, Short Line Faults, Remote Faults, Faults on series compensated lines, Transformer & Reactor De-Energization.
• Analysis
  Ensure by Plotting the Voltage v/s Time Characteristics that the TRV experienced by the CB during circuit interruption is within capability of the CB. Ensure that the RRRV experience by the CB is less than the rated RRRV of the CB.
